Using our data
You are welcome to use World Chaos Map scores in your posts, articles, coursework and research. Just credit us and link back. Commercial use needs permission first.

Something like this is perfect:
Source: World Chaos Map (worldchaosmap.app), scores as of 21 Oct 2026
Scores update every 4 hours, so include the date. On Instagram or TikTok, a tag or the URL in the caption is enough.
Want to use the scores for a brand, a client, a paid product or a publication, or need a data export? Email shaw@worldchaosmap.app. Most requests get a quick yes.
- News content: headlines, article text and links shown in country views belong to their publishers
- Third-party data: sources such as GDELT keep their own terms; see Sources
- The app itself: the code, design and scoring model are not open source; all rights reserved
Scores describe recent reported events. They are not predictions, travel advice or safety guarantees; see the FAQ.
